Increase your Karma!

Karma411 measures your social impact through the site, including participation in campaigns, groups, attracting donations. For example, the more donations you attract, the higher your Karma score will be.

What is Karma good for?

A high Karma score brings you better chances in life.

  1. Your career? Prospective employers see a high score as a mark of trustworthiness.
  2. Need a date? Definitely your reputation matters. A low score sends the wrong message.

Karma is a measure of your past and a key to your future. It indicates your connectedness with people and the importance of these relationships.

Karma Credit

When a Member initiates certain charity-based activities, such as Power Polls or Campaigns, he simultaneously creates a chance for another Member to earn Karma Credits. These credits are a portion of the original donation which can be re-applied toward another activity. For example, John sets up a Power Poll with an underlying donation of $100 to the American Red Cross. He divides this donation into ten Karma Credits, where each credit is worth $10. When Mark takes John's Power Poll, he receives the $10 credit in his account. Mark then re-applies the credit toward his own charity-based activity. He decides to make a $10 Power Post to Tim, who did a great job painting Mark's kitchen. As John first specified, the $10 credit from Mark's Power Post is donated directly to the American Red Cross.
