Get active with Campaigns

When you join Karma411, there are lots of ways to make a difference in the world. You can write Power Posts about deserving people. You can create Power Polls or write a Power Story. Here, the word power denotes your commitment to raise money for charity. This is your power as a Member of our community to invoke far-reaching, positive change. A Campaign provides another power source. It is a force, defined over a period of time, directed to raise money and awareness for your favorite charity.

How do I create a Campaign?

Click on your "Karma" tab. Click "Add Campaign." Now follow me:


  1. Give your Campaign a name and description
  2. Link to a Web Site to provide additional information about the Campaign
  3. Define the Campaign's deadline (click on the calendar icon)
  4. Select the Campaign's type
  5. Define the donation and the number of coupons
  6. Select the charity to receive the donation
  7. Click "Next"

You're almost done! Provide your credit card information and the rest is easy (just a couple clicks of the "Next" button). Congratulations-insert hand clapping here-you've just made yourself a Campaign!

Your new Campaign is listed in the "My Campaigns" section accessible from your "Karma" tab.

Helpful Tip:

Campaigns are a great way to organize your fund-raising activities. And don't forget, not only can you create Campaigns, but you can participate in the Campaigns of other Members. So why not collaborate with another Member to create a one-two punch for your favorite charity? You do the first Campaign and she'll do the second. It's a great way to generate a tremendous (dare we say powerful) boost for an important cause.
