The Second Annual Shane Victorino Celebrity Golf Classic will take place on Saturday, November 21,2009, at the fabulous Maui Prince Makena Resort in Maui, Hawaii. The fun begins with the golf competition at the gorgeous Makena North Course and will be followed by an auction, dinner and awards ceremony. All proceeds from the 2009 golf event will benefit the Hawaii Children's Cancer Foundation.

On November 22, 2008, Philadelphia Phillies GoldGlove centerfielder and Maui-native, Shane Victorino, hosted the inaugural "Shane Victorino Celebrity Golf Tournament" as a means of giving back to the Hawaii community. Shane's first star-studded event raised more than $100,000 for the Alzheimer's Association Aloha Chapter.

Shane would greatly appreciate any additional support that you can provide either by donating or sending this campaign to your friends to raise awareness for his cause. Every little bit helps as he is extremely passionate about giving back and supporting he Hawaii Children's Cancer Foundation. He carries the same passion off the field as he does on and wants to make this year's event a huge success!

About the Hawaii Children's Cancer Foundation

Hawaii Children's Cancer Foundation (HCCF) is the only organization in the State of Hawaii dedicated exclusively to providing services to children with cancer and their families. We provide a wide range of services and programs to our families, including financial assistance, support groups, social events, education and advocacy.

All services and programs that HCCF provides are entirely free to our families. The Foundation was formed in 1991 by a group of parents and medical providers after a statewide needs assessment showed that there were many childhood cancer needs not being met by any existing entity. HCCF is a corporation organized under the laws of the state of Hawaii. HCCF was granted IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit status in 1993. All funds donated to HCCF remain in Hawaii and go towards providing direct services for our children and their families.
