A Special Evening with
Dance Theatre of Harlem
We captured a few special moments from last Saturday in the photo collage on the left (photos by Marilyn Abalos). If you missed the event, you can definitely still visit the Museum of Arts & Culture (MAC) for a self-guided tour of the Harlem? Harlem which is on display until October 3rd. For information about MAC go to http://www.dbmac.org/museum/?page=about
Firebird - An original artwork by local artist Alvin Clayton and inspired by one of Dance Theatre of Harlem's signature ballets is now available through an online auction for one week only. The highest bidder will be the owner of the original art piece at 6pm on June 30, 2010. Please click the link below and consider sending it to other art collectors who may be interested in joining the bidding.

During last Saturday's post reception, we announced that 200 signed and numbered Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay") archival quality prints of Mr. Clayton's Firebird will be produced. Between today and June 30, 2010, you may purchase one of those prints for a special price of $200. Proceeds from the auction and the Giclée prints will benefit both the Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) and the New Rochelle Museum of Arts & Culture (MAC).
