How to place your Campaign Badge in your signature
Here are some instructions to help you add your Badge to Outlook 2003:
- Go to Tools
- Select Options...
- Select Mail Format Tab
- On the bottom click on Signatures...
- On create signature click on "New"
- Name the Signature (perhaps use something with Karma411 in the name)
- Select "Use this file as a template" but before you hit "Browse" button we need to create the template
- Open Notepad on your computer (Start -> Run -> Notepad) and copy and paste the code from the KarmaTag HTML provided. Save the file to your hard drive (any directory is fine) with the name you selected with .htm at the end (extension is important). You can of course add any other HTML you would like to the .html file to include other signature information.
- Now click on browse button back in the Outlook dialogue box and select the file you put on the desktop and select Next
- You can view the signature
- Click ok - now you have a new Signature! You can set this as your default Signature in the next screen
- Note: If you want to append the badge to an existing signature, the directory for your signature files are: c:Documents and Settings -> your username -> Application Data (may be light color or hidden - if hidden, go to "Tools -> Folder Options -> View -> Select Show Hidden Files and Folders) -> Microsoft -> Signatures and find your signature file and then edit it in Notepad.
Thanks for using your KarmaTag...it helps the Karma network grow!
