What's Karma411 all about?

We're a growing social action network that makes a real-world impact. Like other sites, Karma411 provides tools to create profiles and share information. But we think bigger. We offer features that enable our members to give back to the community. We promote the power of charitable giving and provide an experience you can't get anywhere else. You can get connected, make friends, and discover new things, but you can also change the world!

What can I do on Karma411?

Lots of things. Below are some examples.

For the individual Member:

1. Connect with like-minded people. Just create your profile and start searching for people like you.
2. Get the word out. Use our Karma Blogs, or Stories, to say what's on your mind. Worried about the environment? Express your feelings with a Story.
3. Make a difference. Create a Campaign around an important issue. You can raise both awareness and funds for your favorite charities.

For the organization:

1. Get in the game and leverage the power of social networking. Start a Karma411 Group and encourage the Karma411 community to join. They'll quickly learn about your organization and the causes you represent
2. Control the chaos. Collaborate efficiently with the members of your organization: manage calendars, send alerts, and share documents. No more nightmares licking envelopes or managing e-mail servers.
3. Raise money through new channels. Raise money through new channels. Interact with the supporters of your organization. Reach out to them more regularly, obtain their feedback, and include them in decision making. Set up Polls to gather the information you need and Campaigns to raise the funds you require.
